"[Britney's manager] Larry [Rudolph] stating she might never be able to perform again will hopefully be eye-opening to her", the source says.

Larry Rudolph, her manager, said that it now isn't healthy for the 37-year-old to perform live or work on her Las Vegas residency, TMZ reported on May 14.

"From what I have gathered it's clear to me she should not be going back to do this Vegas residency, not in the near future and possibly never again".

Still, he acknowledged the various medical and mental health issues that have reportedly been plaguing Spears since she postponed her Las Vegas residency in January after her father fell ill.

Britney Spears' manager has addressed her health amid her indefinite work hiatus.

Rudolph also said it's clear to him that Spears does not want to get on stage at the moment, saying, "Last summer, when she wanted to tour, she called me every day. We had to pull her show because her meds stopped working and she was distraught over her dad's illness", he reflected.

Rudolph said he does not want her to work until she was ready "physically, mentally and passionately", according to TMZ.

"Kevin won't allow the boys to spend more time with their mother until Britney is once again stable and on medication".
