Rumor: Apple May Launch A 4.7-Inch iPhone In 2020

This year Apple has announced that it is expanding its recycling program to include iPhone returned to Best Buy stores in the USA and KPN stores in the Netherlands.

Daisy can recover materials traditional recyclers cannot at a higher quality, and is now operational in the Netherlands and Texas in the US, Apple said. Customers can also turn in their eligible devices to be recycled at any Apple Store or through apple.com as part of the Apple Trade In programme.

Apple has already recycled almost 1 million devices.

Daisy also recovers important materials such as cobalt, aluminum and tin which are recycled back into the manufacturing process.

In the report called "Environmental Responsibility Report", Apple has set an ambitious goal to "make products without taking from the Earth" and vowed to adopt "big steps" to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide from its business operations.

The company said the facility would focus on finding new recycling processes.

Apple declared its intention to one day manufacture all future products using only recycled and renewable materials in 2017, and said it diverted more than 48,000 metric tons of electronic waste from landfill a year ago.

In order to see the Activity challenge, users must have iOS 12.1.3 and watchOS 5.1.3, or later.
