It did not take long for the post to go viral, with many praising the topical dedicated to the Notre Dame cathedral.

French President Emmanuel Macron ratcheted up the pressure by setting a five-year deadline to restore the 12th-century landmark.

Ubisoft famously collected massive amounts of data on Notre-Dame while making Unity, and it was reportedly modeled down to the brick.

"We still have the main parts of the building so hopefully we will celebrate again in this cathedral", Ambroise Laurent, the deputy secretary-general of the Conference of French Bishops, told CBC's Thomas Daigle.

A man who posted a tweet suggesting the Notre Dame fire had been started deliberately has apologised after it rapidly spread across Twitter.

After a devastating fire caused major damage to the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris Moday, donations have poured in from around the globe. "The stone can deteriorate when it is exposed to high temperatures and change its mineral composition and fracture inside".

"The worldwide competition will allow us to ask the question of whether we should even recreate the spire as it was conceived by Viollet-le-Duc", Prime Minister Edouard Philippe said.

Durand also said that due to the upheaval of the time, the cathedral's 18th-century interior had a darker feel than recent visitors would have experienced.

The 'Regular' OnePlus 7 Has Leaked Looking Just Like the 6T
Now this is not the pop-up camera-toting, full screen device that we expected but more of a OnePlus 6T with a very small redesign. From the leaked images, we can spot the earpiece to be longer than the conventional earpiece as seen on its successor.

First Alert Weather Day for Wednesday
All modes of severe weather are on the table Thursday, including strong damaging winds, tornadoes, and large hail. Showers could linger in South Central Kansas into early Thursday morning but they are not expected to be severe.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame's rector said he would close the cathedral for up to "five to six years", acknowledging that a segment of the structure may be gravely weakened. An independent non-profit heritage group, the Fondation du Patrimoine, said it is still too early to estimate the cost of the damage.

Criticism already has surfaced in France from those who say the money could be better spent elsewhere, on smaller, struggling churches or on workers.

The Paris prosecutor's office said investigators have been able to access some parts of the building, although others remain too risky.

About 30 people have already been questioned in the investigation.

UK Prime Minister Theresa May said the move to ring the bells of Westminster underlined "our solidarity with France and her people", adding that on Maundy Thursday - a Christian holy day that falls on the Thursday before Easter - bells would ring at cathedrals and churches across England in solidarity once more.

The island that houses the cathedral has been closed to the public since Monday's fire, which led to nearby homes being evacuated.

"No one is talking about us", said Patrick Lejeune, president of an association that represents about 150 employees. "I don't have access to my office".

"What's extraordinary is that Notre-Dame's roof lasted until 2019", Francois Chatillon, a prominent architect and specialist in historic monuments, told Reuters. Macron is holding a special Cabinet meeting Wednesday dedicated to the Notre Dame disaster.
