Tiger Woods is ready to attack the upcoming majors after ending his 11-year drought at the Masters on Sunday.

As well as becoming the first Italian to win a major championship, Molinari won the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth, his first PGA Tour title in the Quicken Loans National - a tournament hosted by Woods - and he became the first European to compile a ideal 5-0 record in the Ryder Cup.

Tiger began the tournament as third-joint favorite at 14/1, which didn't dissuade an unnamed bettor from placing an $85,000 bet on him at a William Hill sportsbook at SLS Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

William Hill wasn't the only book to take a hit on the day.

The director of trading for the United Kingdom-based company's US operations, Bogdanovich told USA Today that the sportsbook took an overall loss of "seven figures" on Woods' win, his first at the Masters since 2005 and first major of any kind since 2008. The company also reportedly put Tiger's odds at 100-1 at one point with a $10 limit on bets as a promotion to draw in more action. "When I said how much I was looking to bet, it just kind of was laughable".

Stevens said he could tell Morris was probably going to have a good game, based on the team's two most recent practices. To beat the Bucks - and, ultimately, make it out of the East - Boston will need to be far better than it was Sunday.

"It's great to see Tiger back", Nick Bogdanovich, director of trading for William Hill U.S. said in a release. "It's a painful day for William Hill - our biggest golf loss ever - but a great day for golf". In addition, the peak time of the broadcast came in the 2:00 pm ET hour and, given the presence of the phenomenal theater with Woods and the accumulation of viewers, an impressive rating was posted.

"But I'm a little surprised by him winning, especially with the competition he faced".

Tiger Woods reacts as he wins the Masters golf tournament Sunday, April 14, 2019, in Augusta, Ga.

"I think 18 is a whole lot closer than people think", he said. However, the Italian, the defending Open champion, saw his hopes of a first triumph at Augusta extinguished by double-bogeys at the 12 and the 15 on Sunday.
