Ciara couldn't be prouder of husband, Russell Wilson, after he resigned with his team the Seattle Seahawks, reportedly becoming the NFL's highest paid player.

As you might expect, news of Wilson's blockbuster new deal was greeted by plenty of reaction online, with Wilson's former Seahawks teammate, safety Earl Thomas, congratulating the quarterback on his new contract, while current teammate, linebacker Bobby Wagner, also tweeted his congratulations. Instead of calling his bluff, the Seahawks gave him what he asked for.

The no-trade clause was part of a $140 million, four-year extension that gives Wilson the most guaranteed money ($107 million) and highest average annual value ($31.5 million) in National Football League history. At an annual average salary of $35 million, Wilson makes more money than Aaron Rodgers who rakes in $33.5 million a year.

Russell Wilson and Ciara have millions of reasons to celebrate.

"Good night", says Ciara, adding, "Finally, you can go to sleep." which prompts Wilson to chuckle.

"Hey Seattle, we got a deal", Russell said from his bed. "Go Hawks. I'm gonna see you all in the morning". The deal includes $107 million guaranteed and a $65 million signing bonus, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Not even close. Having to face Wilson at least twice a year for the next five seasons isn't great news for any of the Seahawks' three division rivals. He's a five-time Pro Bowler and he's won the Super Bowl with the Seahawks.

Trump 'celebrating' tax day in Minnesota
Trump bucked decades of presidential tradition by declining to show voters his tax filings, both as a candidate and as president. A $1.5 trillion tax cut ranks 12th as a share of the total economy, according to the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget.

"They basically took money that would've been in base salaries and put it into the signing bonus", Pelissero said of Wilson's deal. And the way I hear it, there are several teams that are in the mix for Frank Clark.

Wilson has led the Seahawks to the playoffs in six of his seven seasons, the only miss coming in 2017.

Time will tell how many of these four players will be in a Seahawks uniform going into the next decade.

The 5-foot-11 Wilson threw for a career-high 35 touchdowns and matched his career low with seven interceptions.

He's also been extremely durable, never missing a game while playing through significant knee, ankle and shoulder injuries. This new contract just strengthens that distinction.

"When I first got drafted in 2012, I wanted to be here forever".
