In the film, Beyoncé opens up about the emergency C-section that she had when she welcomed twins Rumi and Sir Carter in June 2017, revealing that she almost lost one of the babies when the infant's heart stopped in the womb.

"Homecoming" is now streaming on Netflix, with a companion album featuring 40 songs from the show launching alongside it.

The album includes two bonus cuts near the end: "Before I Let Go" and "I Been On". Knowles has a surprisingly deep history with this song.

Destiny's Child previously recorded a cover of the song back in 1997, though it was never officially released.

The album features live renditions of her hits including Crazy In Love, Formation, Sorry, Drunk In Love, Run The World (Girls) and Love On Top, as well as the Destiny's Child tracks Say My Name, Soldier and Bug A Boo. The song samples Cameo's "Candy".

Footage exists online of Knowles dancing the electric slide to Maze's original "Before I Let Go" at a family gathering alongside husband Jay-Z, mother Tina Knowles Lawson, and others.

One new studio recording also features in the tracklist. The second of the two is a recording of her daughter Blue Ivy singing "Lift Every Voice And Sing", the poem written by James Weldon Johnson in 1900 that Beyoncé sung at Coachella previous year.
