Paul George's injury status is day-to-day due to right shoulder soreness, Thunder coach Billy Donovan said after practice Friday.

Looking at the betting trends, the Thunder are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record, 4-13 ATS in their last 17 against the Western Conference and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. Led by guards Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum, they stormed back to a No. 3 seed this year.

This one could really go either way, so while I'm tempted to take the Thunder, I got this series going to seven games, so I'm taking the Trailblazers to secure home-court advantage with another narrow win and cover here behind another big game from Lillard.

Damian Lillard of the Blazers reacts after making a shot in a National Basketball Association playoff game against Oklahoma City.

George says he's going to do everything he can to get as close to 100 percent as he can and hopes to play.

Oklahoma City beat the Blazers in all four meetings this season, including a heated 129-121 overtime victory on March 7.

The Thunder have not gotten past the opening round of the playoffs for the past two seasons.

The re-aggravation of a right shoulder injury from the end of February sidelined George in the Thunder's 127-116 win at Milwaukee Wednesday.

Portland jumped out to a 26-15 lead early on McCollum's third 3-pointer.

OKC scored six straight points, the last two on a left-handed layup by Westbrook to cut it to 91-87 with 3:51 left.

Of course, what happens during the regular season doesn't always carry over into the postseason and that was the case in Game 1 of this series.

Kanter, signed just before the All-Star break after he was waived by the New York Knicks, has started in Nurkic's place. The Thunder did not make any of their six 3-point attempts, while Portland was 7 of 10.

Lillard went nine-of-21 from the field on his way to 30 points in 38 minutes, adding four rebounds, four assists and three steals. But they still struggled from 3-point range, making just two of 18 attempts.
