Severe weather possible Sunday in Richmond

The Storm Prediction Center has listed Tarrant County as being under a marginal risk for severe weather while Dallas and Collin counties are under slight risk.

The second round moves through late Saturday night into Sunday morning.

The National Weather Service says thunderstorms are expected Saturday from Texas to Alabama. Trees were down throughout the hilly city on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi. Damaging winds, Tornadoes, Hail and brief Heavy rain can be expected in some storms.

After the initial showers tonight and just after midnight on Sunday we should see a break in the action before our first line of thunderstorms moves in. The main line of storms will begin to push into this area late Sunday morning and trek to the east on Sunday afternoon.
