After short studying the opponent and several hits in the first rounds, Lomachenko continued the fight with KO to Crolla in Round 4 with a flawless right hook to the side of the head to cap off.

The Ukrainian pound-for-pound king had his complete arsenal at his disposal, including blazing hand speed, devastating punching power and a superior ring IQ.

And he is targeting "historic" fights, with WBC lightweight title holder Garcia in his sights.

Lomachenko is one of the most formidable fighters in the world and is expected to win comfortably when the two meet in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Lomachenko brutalized his opponent throughout their fight. He stayed there for some time but even when he was helped to his feet his camp still had to support his wobbly legs.

Manchester-born Crolla was a heavy 100-1 underdog prior to the fight.

Crolla is returning to the ring for the first time since defeating Daud Yordan by unanimous decision in November.

"I think it's a very big mistake [from] Crolla corner, because they saw what happened in the third round", said Lomachenko. Lomachenko is promoted by Top Rank and fights on ESPN, while Garcia fights for the Premier Boxing Champions created by Al Haymon. When the second began, Lomachenko began to dig hooks to the body and find ways to get through Crolla's guard.
