Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram suffer outages

"Not good for those who do social media work, like me".

Needless to say, users have been flooding rival social media sites like Twitter to express their disappointment, or to have a little fun with the issue.

Reports of an inability to access Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp were coming in from around the world Sunday morning. Facebook and Instagram are down and now everyone will rush to Twitter to complain about it.

It is unclear at this stage what has forced the latest outage.

According to the downdetector.in, Facebook is showing problems since 5:26 pm IST.

Down Detector, a website that tracks when online services suffering from outages, reported that Facebook began having issues at approximately 6:36 a.m.

The outage tracking website showed that there are more than 9000 incidents of people reporting issues with Facebook.
