Epic Games Has Reportedly Hired Infinity Ward Co-Founder Jason West

Now, it seems that the massively profitable studio is preparing to work on its next, successful game. With co-founder of Infinity Ward and Respawn Entertainment Jason West working with the company. West previously served as CTO of Infinity Ward before later founding Respawn with Vince Zampella after Activision fired the two. If this report is to be believed, Keighley says that West will now work with Epic in the pursuit of developing new games. The first is that West has not worked in the games industry for around six years.

Jason West left Respawn Entertainment back in 2013, and did not move to a new studio.

This will be the first gaming project that Jason West will be a part of since his departure from Respawn Entertainment.

It's also being seen as a big deal because many consider West to be an incredibly talented developer.

Epic Games may have something in development. Fortnite has become an worldwide news story because of its popularity, with Grammy-award winning musicians, and star athletes all loving the game. They do have all that Fortnite money to spend on improvements.
