Washington's Big Question: Where's the Mueller Report?

"I had the greatest electoral victory - one of them - in the history of our country, tremendous success, tens of millions of voters and now somebody's going to write a report who never got a vote", he said.

Former FBI Director James Comey penned an op-ed in The New York Times Thursday explaining exactly what he hopes to see from special counsel Robert Mueller's report on attempted Russian interference in the 2016 election, which is expected in the coming days. "People will not stand for it".

Mueller was appointed to handle the Russian Federation investigation in May 2017 after Trump fired FBI Director James Comey, who had been overseeing the effort. That action entangled Rosenstein, whose memo castigating Comey was cited by the White House as justification for his firing.

Shortly after Mueller submits his final report to Attorney General Bill Barr, the lawmakers plan on sending the letter to various agencies and entities, including the Department of Justice, FBI and White House Counsel's Office, according to the report. NBC News correspondent Pete Williams noted that "there is no such regulation" requiring that Mueller immediately tell Congress if he finds something that might merit impeachment. There was no obstruction. "It's all a witch hunt".

Chevrolet sold just over 18,000 Bolts in the US last year, a drop of almost 23 percent compared to 2017. OH and the area around the Lordstown plant are important to Trump's 2020 re-election bid.

The moves are part of the company's commitment to continuously find ways to boost its global competitiveness. The automaker did not disclose a location or jobs estimate for its new autonomous vehicle center.

Framing the partisanship as it relates to the Mueller investigation as being entirely one-sided - "our president and his enablers" versus Team Mueller, which Comey portrays as "apolitical" - Comey says he believes the completion of the report will be "a demonstration to the world" that USA justice system will not be ruled by "personal interest and tribalism".

Trump and his allies have spent almost two years trying to discredit Mueller.

"I'm also not rooting for Mr. Mueller to 'clear" the president, ' he added. And Trump and his advisers are considering how to weaponize those possible findings for the 2020 race, painting the investigation as a failed coup while railing against investigations launched by House Democrats.

'Even though I believe Mr. Trump is morally unfit to be president of the United States, I'm not rooting for Mr. Mueller to demonstrate that he is a criminal, ' he wrote, an argument he has also made previously.
