35 seconds of pre-alpha in-engine footage.

A sequel to both System Shock and 1999's System Shock 2, this new project from OtherSide is not to be confused with Nightdive Studio's crowdfunded reboot of the original game.

Confidence might not be high in OtherSide after the heavily criticised release of Underworld Ascendant at the end of previous year, but perhaps the above trailer might restore a little faith, even if there's no indication of when the game might come out.

Cuphead is coming to Nintendo Switch in April
Playing the game on a console with such a big focus on local co-op really reminds Jared and I of days gaming together as kids. Microsoft teased plans to bring Xbox Live to Switch and mobile last month in its schedule for the Game Developers Conference.

Apple launches new iPad Air, iPad mini
The first set of iPad mini reviews are out and they praise the mini iPad for its improved performance and the form factor. And at least for right now, many of them are quite cheap, because the iPad mini was considered a dead product.

It's important to note that System Shock 3 has no relation to the on-going System Shock Remake being developed by Night Dive Studios, which aims to bring the first game to modernity with a release in 2020.

The very brief teaser trailer had all the hallmarks of the System Shock franchise, including a desolate space station, monstrous enemies, and series antagonist SHODAN, all in glorious high definition. Though we are expecting the game to arrive on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One whenever it does.

Honesty, I felt vibes of several classic titles just watching this trailer. Only that Shodan is still determined to end all of humanity, however, Warren Spector states that we'll find out as to why she wants this. You know what they say - good things come to those who wait.
