Nvidia is adding ray tracing support to some GTX cards

As was made abundantly clear recently, however, that may well not be the case; Crytek has shown real-time ray tracing running on a demo called Neon Noir with convincing reflections rendered using its CryEngine game engine, and the kicker is that it was claimed to be running on the AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 graphics card, a GPU with precisely zero cores created to accelerate ray tracing workloads.

Since Metro Exodus is so heavily ray traced, the RTX cards run it three times quicker than older GTX 10-series cards.

You'll need a GeForce GTX 1060 6GB minimum, with all Pascal GPUs through to the TITAN Xp working with the basic RT abilities, as well as the new Turing-based GeForce GTX 1660 and GTX 1660 Ti graphics cards.

The graphics chipmaker announced Monday at GDC 2019 it will enable DirectX ray tracing (DXR) on some of its older graphics cards with its Pascal architecture via a driver expected in April.

Exynos 7884-powered Samsung Galaxy A20 launches in Russian Federation
It is expected that Samsung will unveil three new A-series phones - Galaxy A90 , Galaxy A40 and Galaxy A20e - on April 10, 2019. However, most of the Galaxy A handsets with lower specs (and model numbers) are already available in some markets.

The pair were banned for 12 months after the incident in South Africa. "Hopefully they win the series there as well". A lot of people are tipping Royals to win it and I think they are one of the favourites this year", he said.

Facebook has also identified how such content might "migrate" from other platforms in a bid to tackle it. YouTube said then that it was "working vigilantly to remove any violent footage".

In comparison, new RTX cards - the Titan RTX, RTX 2080 Ti, RTX 2080, RTX 2070 and RTX 2060 - are capable of rendering complex ray tracing effects.

The driver will also support NVIDIA GeForce and Max-Q based notebooks with the respective GPUs so that's another reason you should be excited for your Pascal graphics cards.

However, ray tracing takes front and center in the latest trailer for Control, and in the video you can get an idea of how Remedy's upcoming title will utilize the technology to make the game's environments feel even more lifelife. It's also important to remember that each game uses ray tracing in different ways. Things improve slightly with Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which comes in at around 30 fps, and Battlefield V's less demanding ray tracing effects mean 50 fps is possible. "GameWorks RTX is available to the developer community in open source form under the GameWorks license and includes plugins for Unreal Engine 4.22 and Unity's 2019.03 preview release". DLSS (Deep Learning Super-Sampling), another RTX technology, isn't supported either, which uses cloud-based AI to simulate games at higher resolutions and teaches your GPU how to mimic that level of detail. Prior to this, the support is only available for GeForce RTX-class cards which the company launched previous year.
