Ford says this eye-searing green is inspired by a similar color offered on Mustangs in the 1970s.

Ford is celebrating Saint Patrick's Day the only way it knows how: by painting the Mustang green.

Just in time for St. Patrick's Day, Ford unveiled a lime green color option named Grabber Lime for the 2020 Mustang.

Indeed, giving the classic finish a modern makeover was part of Ford's remit, according to Barb Whalen, color and materials manager at the firm.

Jury decision means Apple must pay Qualcomm $31 million
This legal victory for Qualcomm is just the warmup from another showdown that will take place in the US next month (April 15). San Diego-based Qualcomm hailed the verdict as a validation of its technology's importance to iPhones.

USA start Basketball World Cup defence against Czechs
There will be 12 teams in the Olympic field - host Japan is one, and seven other nations will directly qualify from the World Cup. Canada was drawn into a tough Group H for the 2019 FIBA World Cup alongside Lithuania, Australia and Senegal.

Victims rise to 50 in Christchurch mosque attacks, 1 suspect left
Police Commissioner Mike Bush also said that 36 people are still hospitalized and that two of them are in critical condition. A couple apprehended at a cordon for carrying firearms not believe to be involved in the attacks, Bush said.

Ford's new retro-inspired Grabber Lime is so bright that it should come with a pair of sunglasses. The others, Twister Orange (which we saw on the $1.1 million GT500 at Barrett-Jackson), Iconic Silver, and Red Hot Metallic also join the range for 2020. On the modern pony cars, particularly the Shelby GT500 seen here, it really highlights the car's aggressive body lines. "And your vehicle is an extension of that".

"These bright, vibrant retro colors are trending in design - in home furnishings, sportswear and even appliances", said Whalen.

Of course, if you are feeling the luck of the Irish and planning to score a new Mustang, you don't have to buy the top-dog Shelby to garner the Grabber Lime paint.

Along with a new Iconic Silver and Red Hot Metallic, they signal the Shelby is all about going big and bold, though all four will be available for order on the Mustang GT350 and lower-trim pony cars, too.
