Per ESPN's Field Yates, New England added free-agent tight end Matt LaCosee on Thursday. Terms of the contract are unknown at the time of this writing. He had 24 catches for 250 yards with a touchdown last season with the Denver Broncos. LaCosse played in 15 games during the 2018 season.

LaCosse (6-6, 255 pounds) entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of IL with the New York Giants in 2015.

LaCosse entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of IL in 2015. Jake Butt and Troy Fumagalli have shown potential but neither player has proved he can stay healthy.
