The June 3rd date hasn't exactly been a secret in the development and technology communities. iOS and macOS developers have been gearing themselves up for that date for a number of weeks now, with some even pre-booking speculative hotels and travel in order to beat the price hikes which inevitably come once WWDC has been announced.

WWDC 2019 will feature technical sessions, hands-on labs and guest speakers to provide the developer community with the knowledge and tools to help turn their next great idea into reality.

Apart from software, it's also expected that Apple will show off its new Mac Pro to the public, which is believed to feature an extremely modular design for far more flexibility for professional users out there. The five-day-long developer-focused conference, which will last until June 7, will take place at the McEnery Convention Centre in San Jose. Now in its 30th year, Apple's biggest event will bring together the world's most innovative and creative developers.

Apple will live stream WWDC 2019 through the official WWDC app as well as through the Apple Developer website. However, tickets will be issued through a random selection process, and eligible developers will be notified by March 21 at 5pm PDT (March 22 at 5:30am IST).

The keynote is usually live-streamed around the world, but any developers interested in attending the full conference in person can apply for the opportunity to purchase a $1599 United States dollars ticket, as long as they are a member of the Apple Developer Program or the Apple Developer Enterprise Program. Each ticket will notably cost $1,599 (roughly Rs. 1,10,800) to developers attending the conference.

Apple has formally announced that it is kicking off the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2019 on June 3. And if we're lucky, maybe we'll even get some interesting new hardware announcements as well.

Apple CEO Tim Cook will begin the event by unveiling iOS 13, macOS 10.15, watchOS 6, and tvOS 13.
