Manchester United's injury crisis deepened yesterday after Romelu Lukaku was ruled out of their FA Cup quarter-final against Wolverhampton Wanderers tomorrow evening because of an injury to his right ankle.

But Solskjaer has hit back at claims that his side put in an underwhelming display, telling a press conference: "You're always measured on results but we played a good game against Arsenal". But it's not like we can't look at the performance and say we were shit because we weren't.

'It's so unusual, the Arsenal one.

"We've given ourselves a chance to be in and amongst top four, we're in the quarter-finals of both the FA Cup and Champions League".

"We narrow the focus and it's now about winning trophies and making use of the squad".

He's coming back on Sunday, he's not been on grass yet, he's been seeing his people in Barcelona he's still a few weeks away so if we get to round about Everton, City, Chelsea that period he'll probably be available.

Romelu Lukaku will have to have a foot issue assessed, but there looks to be improvements on the injury front ahead of the trip to Molineux. Captain Ashley Young is definitely out through suspension.

Interestingly, with Lukaku missing in action against Wolves, Man United's boss Ole Solskjaer is expected to return to a 4-4-2 formation that will see Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford play in attack. "We've got a decision to make [on Saturday] on who's match fit". 'Phil Jones is back, there have been so many players out.

There was speculation suggesting Sanchez may return after the global break, however, Solskjaer says he's still a few weeks away from being ready so the United boss doesn't feel the attacker will be available until towards the end of April when they face Everton, Man City and Chelsea. "You've got to ask him".
