Facebook, Instagram Down For Many Users Across The World

Facebook Messenger is the social network's chatting client that is harnessed by users across the globe.

Facebook is now down with people all around the globe having difficulty accessing the world's largest social network.

According to The Verge, Instagram is experiencing difficulties on both the app and on desktops everywhere. It says it is not a denial of service attack but rather a technical issue.

'We're working to resolve the issue as soon as possible'.

The social media giant posted a message on Twitter saying it was "working to resolve the issue as soon as possible".

- Facebook and Instagram were down on Wednesday, according to users worldwide.

Others took the opportunity to joke about Facebook's recent privacy scandals.

Some users apparently were able to access the platforms but could not send or receive messages or post new content. That outage was the second time that month.

And there's probably some other underground social media network your kids aren't telling you about.
