Vehicles recalled: Certain 2011-13 Ford F-150 trucks manufactured at Ford's Dearborn, Mich., assembly plant from April 28, 2010, through October 28, 2013, and at its Kansas City, Mo., assembly plant from May 18, 2010, through November 18, 2013.

Ford has launched three recalls for vehicles sold in the USA market including the 2011-2013 F-150, 2017-2019 Lincoln Continental, and the 2019 Mustang, Lincoln Nautilus and Navigator.

The issue stems from an intermittent loss of the transmission output speed sensor signal to the power-train control module, according to Ford. To date, Ford is aware of five accidents related to the issue.

Ford is also recalling 4,200 2019 model Ford Mustang, Lincoln Nautilus and Lincoln Navigator vehicles for instrument panel cluster assemblies that are blank when the vehicles are started.

Ford says as remedy its service people will update the powertrain control module software.
