After a freak bus accident during a mysterious global blackout, Jack wakes up to discover that The Beatles have never existed.

On the strength of classic songs like "Let It Be", "Hey Jude" and of course, "Yesterday", the young musician rises to worldwide stardom and takes the musical adventure of a lifetime. It's now dropped that unwieldy, avante-garde moniker in favour of an actual name, which confirms its Beatles-centric premise - the project is officially called Yesterday, and it has a new trailer and poster.

Scripted by Love Actually writer Richard Curtis, Yesterday is produced by Working Title's Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner alongside Matt Wilkinson, Bernie Bellew, Curtis and Boyle. The high-concept story follows an upcoming artist who is the only person to remember The Beatles.

Maybe it is because it's reexamining the lyrics of the Beatles in 2019, but there's something about this movie that really excites me. John Lennon was shot dead in 1980, while George Harrison died in 2001. Sir Paul played bass on a couple of the tracks of the 2017 album and sung backing vocals.
