Nicki Minaj Cancels BET Performance After Network Makes Cardi B Grammy Joke

Lady Gaga is speaking out in support of Cardi B after the rapper has received some hate online following her win at the 2019 Grammys.

Cardi B has deleted her Instagram account after her history-making Grammys win turned her into a target for trolls on Monday.

"Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is being dragged by her lacefront", the since-deleted tweet from the network read, linking to an article on about Cardi's award. Backstage at the show, Cardi B took to Instagram to celebrate her win. It was scheduled to be co-headlined by Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. On a video posted to her story, Cardi is shown thanking an admirer for a bouquet of flowers.

Last night, BET chimed in on Nicki Minaj and Cardi B's deep-seated beef and now, Minaj wants smoke with the network.

The song smashed the charts, overtaking pop princess Taylor Swift to snag number one on the Billboard Hot 100 - the first woman rapper to take the top spot since legend Lauryn Hill did so in 1998. "I listen to my album and I cry because I know the hell I went thruu doing the album is always a bittersweet memory", she wrote.
