Borussia Dortmund's flight delayed after Jadon Sancho forgets passport

Sancho has been earmarked as Dortmund's biggest attacking threat ahead of his side's Champions League clash against Spurs on Wednesday with both Marco Reus and Paco Alcacer out injured.

All eyes will be on Sancho when he features against Spurs at Wembley, as the England global is set for something of a homecoming in the city where he grew up.

But his sizzling form for the Bundesliga leaders has also seen him grab the column inches, scoring eight goals and producing 11 assists in all competitions.

An exciting Champions League tie in prospect as Mauricio Pochettino and Spurs welcome Borussia Dortmund to Wembley.

It will be Sancho's first competitive club match on English soil since opting to leave Manchester City to join Dortmund in 2017.

The 18-year-old reportedly realised his gaffe when he arrived at the airport and needed to rush home to collect his passport, the BBC reported.
