Akshay Shares ‘Glimpses of Kesari’ from Upcoming Period Drama

Akshay Kumar is all set to go up against 10,000 Afghans with his battalion of soldiers in his upcoming film Kesari.

Along with Akshay Kumar, Kesari stars Parineeti Chopra in pivotal roles. "It's an unbelievable true story". The actor has been sharing glimpses from the film for quite some time, and today, Kesari's new poster was unveiled by Akshay on social media.

Earlier, Akshay shared new photos and wrote, "Aaj meri pagdi bhi Kesari, jo bahega mera woh lahoo bhi Kesari, aur mera jawaab bhi Kesari". Along with the post, he also shared that the team will share the glimpses from the film later in the day. Soon after its release, the post of Khiladi Kumar started getting a lot of positive replies for the first synopsis of Kesari.

The first glimpse of Kesari shows Akshay's Havildar Isher Singh being swarmed by hundreds of enemy soldiers as he takes what looks like his last stand.

Glimpses Of Kesari (Part 2) is here and same as part 1 this, too, gives a glimpse of the Battle of Saragarhi which was fought back in 1897.

Akshay has teamed up with filmmaker Karan Johar's Dharma Productions for the movie, being directed by Anurag Singh. Ajay Devgn is also working on Sons of Sardaar, which is reportedly based on the same event.
