Kevin Durant dribbles against the Knicks' Damyean Dotson in an October game.

Calling it nothing more than a marketing tool, the New York Knicks have nonetheless deleted a game action photo of Golden State Warriors star forward Kevin Durant and Knicks rookie center Mitchell Robinson from their website after it was used in a ticket sales promotion.

In what has been the worst kept secret in the National Basketball Association, the New York Knicks are all in on attracting the services of Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant in free agency this upcoming summer. As the image spread online, it was probably easy for some observers to suspect the Knicks were sending a less-than-subtle signal about why it might be well worth it to renew season tickets.

As the organization states, it was a rotating image that appears on their website, but given the amount of attention it has received, it decided it was in the team's best interest to remove it. In a flawless world for Knicks fans, the lowly Eastern Conference franchise will go from the cellar to the top of the standings next season, thanks to the additions of both Durant and Irving - and maybe even current Duke Blue Devils standout Zion Williamson.

Scales of justice: Indonesia police probe snake interrogation
A video circulating online showed police in Jayawijaya district wrapping a snake around the neck of the suspect as they questioned him.

It's no secret that the New York Knicks want to sign multiple stars this summer.

Durant had gone more than a week without speaking to the team's beat writers prior to his outburst. "I'm trying to play basketball". I don't know who traded Porzingis.

Barring he signs a new contract with the Mavs, Porzingis will be a restricted free agent at season's end. Still, they made a curious photo choice when asking season-ticket holders to renew before a February 28 deadline.
