Dortmund will face Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League Round of 16 later this month.

Borussia Dortmund squandered a three-goal lead and drew with Hoffenheim 3-3 at home then watched Bayern Munich cut its lead in the Bundesliga to five points on Saturday.

Elsewhere, runner up Borussia Monchengladbach suffered a setback as Hertha Berlin snatched a 3-0 away victory on the goals from Salomon Kalou, Ondrej Duda and Davie Selke.

Sancho was bereaved again after he lost his grandmother only recently, and dedicated his goal iin the massive Bundesliga clash against Schalke to the two.

Jadon Sancho starred for Dortmund in the absence of injured captain Marco Reus, but instead of putting the pressure on Bayern with what would have been a 10-point gap ahead of the late game, they allowed Hoffenheim to come back.

Reus suffered an injury against Werder Bremen last week and missed Saturday's 3-3 draw with Hoffenheim.

Borussia Dortmund are nearly certainly going to be without captain Marco Reus when they return to Champions League action on Wednesday.

The England worldwide then set up Mario Gotze for Dortmund's second goal before combining with Gotze to set up Raphael Guerreiro for an easy tap-in in the 66th.

Jadon Sancho put in another sensational performance, having a goal disallowed before opening the scoring, then setting up Mario Gotze's goal and hitting the post.
