Quarterback John Wolford Stars in AAF Debut for Arizona Hotshots

Hackenberg was benched late in the contest, as quarterback Brandon Silvers replaced him in the second half of the fourth quarter. The third quarterback on the roster for Memphis head coach Mike Singletary is Zach Mettenberger, the LSU product with 10 regular season National Football League starts on his resume.

The AAF is a much higher caliber of play than a lot of people might realize, and Hackenberg clearly isn't ready after week one.
