The latest case is not believed to be linked to an outbreak of measles in the state of Washington, Hussain said.

The report comes as both Canada and the United States face another year of measles outbreaks such as one now underway in Washington State and OR, where support for anti-vaccination has been notable.

The agency said there have been large measles outbreaks reported across Europe which have affected many countries.
