Unbeaten Gervonta Davis retained his WBA super-featherweight title with a first-round knockout win over former champion Hugo Ruiz.

This time, against his fighter Gervonta Davis who recorded his 21st professional victory against Hugo Ruiz at the weekend in California.

Davis, who entered the ring to Michael Jackson's "Thriller", wasted little time showing why he is one of boxing rising super stars with his impressive fourth win in a world title fight.

Davis, who's touted as one of the best fighters in boxing and is still only 24-years-old, will face the kickboxer before defending his belt in May.

Mayweather said that he earned $9 million - plus a $1 million bonus - for the exhibition with Nasukawa and said he would likely participate in future exhibition fights.
