Minnesota Democratic Senator Amy Klobuchar has announced she is running for president in the 2020 election.

Staff describe the senator as a demanding boss who sends dozens of emails over night accusing of them of bad work, ccing multiple colleagues on said emails to publicly embarrass them with her floggings, and using aides to perform personal tasks such as washing dishes at her home or picking up her dry cleaning. In her announcement address, Klobuchar checked a lot of the expected boxes-decrying voter suppression and "big money"-but we'll have to wait for the policy details".

"But that sense of community is fracturing across our nation right now, worn down by the petty and vicious nature of our politics", Klobuchar said.

"We are exhausted of the shutdowns and the showdowns, the gridlock and the grandstanding", she told the crowd and a national audience on TV.

"We've got the opportunity to replace chaos with courage. Not by wallowing over what's wrong, but by marching inexorably toward what's right".

The I-35W Mississippi River bridge collapsed in August 2007, killing 13 people.

"I saw the tweet about Amy Klobuchar and calling her a snow woman for standing there braving the snowfall", Navarro said early Sunday evening during a CNN panel.

Klobuchar for years has had the highest staff turnover rates in the Senate. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) officially launched her presidential campaign.

"As your president, I will look you in the eye".

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 'to be appointed Manchester United boss'
Paul Pogba scored twice, but it was Anthony Martial's goal that caught everybody's attention. We conceded the counter-attack, and at that point it was more hard .

Klobuchar, 58, is hoping to belay her success in her home state - she easily won a third-term previous year and enjoys broad support from voters in urban, suburban and rural areas, including in dozens of counties Trump won in 2016 - and her reputation as a straight-shooting pragmatist who gets legislation passed onto the national stage.

Klobuchar has already made several visits to Iowa, which holds first-in-the-nation caucuses in February, and is scheduled to be in the Hawkeye State again next week.

"Senator Klobuchar loves her staff - they are the reason she has gotten to where she is today".

Klobuchar's team issued a lengthy statement saying she has been "proud" of her staff. "For every senior who wants affordable prescription drugs". She supports the "Green New Deal", a Democratic plan proposed this past week to combat climate change and create thousands of jobs in renewable energy.

However, her legislative record has drawn criticism from both the GOP and some fellow Democrats. Klobuchar spoke of "community" and hailed herself as a bridge-builder who can get things done. Some progressives say she lacks the kind of fire and bold ideas needed to bring significant change and excite voters. She's beloved in her state as a smart, amusing and personable lawmaker and has gained national attention for her lines of questioning at high-profile hearings.

Klobuchar has always been regarded as one of the U.S. Senate's most popular and effective members. In response to Klobuchar's questioning Kavanaugh about whether he'd ever blacked out from drinking, he snidely responded, "Have you?"

Tellingly, however, Klobuchar let Harris and Cory Booker take the lead in interrogating Brett Kavanaugh over his views on LGBTQ issues. It also chronicled challenges including her father's struggle with alcoholism, a topic she touched on during Kavanaugh's Senate hearing, and her parents' divorce. "I am so excited, and she's a fabulous woman I can get behind".

Like other Democratic candidates, she has laid the groundwork for a presidential run in recent months by stepping up her appearances on national outlets, including "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert", where she was a guest in November, just before the midterm election.
