Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos on Thursday accused the publisher of the National Enquirer of "blackmail" after it threatened to publish intimate photographs sent by the billionaire to his mistress if he did not cease an investigation into the newspaper's alleged links with Saudi Arabia. "It's a shocking and frightening thing Mr. Bezos has revealed".

In addition to founding the world's largest e-commerce site, Bezos, is also the owner and benefactor of The Washington Post. "I prefer to stand up, roll this log over, and see what crawls out". As chairman of American Media Inc., Pecker played a part in making the payments to former porn star Stormy Daniels and former Playboy model Karen McDougal, both of which prosecutors believe may have violated campaign finance law, according to The New York Times.

Bezos says that the Enquirer is threatening to publish even more embarrassing photos of him if he doesn't put a stop to an investigation now underway by a private investigator hired by Bezos.

The Amazon boss didn't try to hide the potential for embarrassment, writing "of course I don't want personal photos published" and noting what he called "AMI's long-earned reputation for weaponising journalistic privileges".

Bezos, who owns The Washington Post, wrote that the Enquirer wanted him to make a false public statement that he and his security consultant, Gavin de Becker, "have no knowledge or basis for suggesting that AMI's coverage was politically motivated or influenced by political forces". His private investigators have concluded that Mr. Bezos's phone wasn't hacked.

Bezos shared an AMI email regarding details of the intimate photos-one described as a "below the belt selfie - otherwise colloquially known as a "d*ck pick" - that the National Enquirer obtained during its "newsgathering".

Bezos hired a team of investigators to look into how, late previous year, the Enquirer obtained the raunchy text messages he exchanged with Lauren Sanchez while still married to his longtime wife. He's wearing either tight black cargo trousers or shorts.

Patrick Mahomes Told "No More Basketball" By Chiefs GM
With the Chiefs front office being 1-year away from breaking the bank on Mahomes, they wanted to deal with this video immediately. Mahomes' dominance helped lift the Chiefs to a 12-4 regular season record and their first AFC Championship Game since 1993.

Joe Schmidt Names Ireland Team To Face Scotland
Toner's absence has exacerbated the prior lock losses of Iain Henderson to a finger problem and Tadhg Beirne to a knee complaint. Sean O'Brien taking Josh van der Flier's place at openside is the only switch not forced by injury.

· A selfie of Mr. Bezos fully clothed.

In recent interviews, including with The Daily Beast and The Washington Post, Mr de Becker has said he was investigating whether Ms Sanchez's brother, who has said he supports Mr Trump, may have been behind the leak for political reasons.

· A naked selfie in a bathroom - while wearing his wedding ring. Mr Bezos is wearing nothing but a white towel - and the top of his pubic region can be seen.

So, in an attempt to out the publication today, Jeff published their alleged threat via a "confidential" email sent to Martin Singer, the litigation counselor for his investigator. "I hope common sense can prevail - and quickly". If in my position I can't stand up to this kind of extortion, how many people can?

David Pecker, the CEO of National Enquirer parent company AMI, is a longtime ally of President Donald Trump.

But as Bezos began to investigate the leak, the tabloid's parent disputed any suggestion that its story was politically motivated.

He added, "At an extreme level, this shows how frightening it should be to the citizens of the United States that the National Enquirer reportedly has a safe full of information about the president of the United States".
