Speaking on a preview of Sunday's Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the reality star told Jonathan Cheban: 'He didn't say slavery is a choice, he was saying if you're gonna still be enslaved for another 400 years then that's some bulls***'. "That sounds like a choice", West said at the time. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In fact, in the live video, which wasn't edited - despite the claims made in the episode - 'Ye said, "When you hear about slavery for 400 years, for 400 years?" It's like we're meant to be in prison.

Kim was understandably upset when the interview hit the internet causing millions of people to be angry with her husband. TMZ fired back with a story that compared Kardashian's explanation to its video of West at the gossip site's headquarters.

Many fans suggested Kanye was suffering another breakdown after the freakish interview and, in an upcoming episode of Kim's reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, she reveals to her friend Jonathan Cheban she was initially upset when she heard the comments.

"The thing is when he gets ramped up, he can't control what he says".

In August, West said he was sorry for his comments. Like, I don't want to be so suppressed. "They could have said, 'Yo this is going too far, '" West told WGCI.
