Trump declares national day of mourning for George HW Bush

Michael Dukakis, who lost to George H.R. Bush in the 1988 presidential election, said Saturday that his former political foe's legacy was his effort to help end the Cold War.

"Condolences to the Bush family and the people of US on the passing away of former President George HW Bush".

The Daily Briefing host Dana Perino joined Fox & Friends Saturday morning to remember George H.W. Bush.

The president and first lady Melania Trump will attend the funeral at Washington National Cathedral, Sanders said.

In August 2015, Mr Trump tweeted a dig at the Bush presidency writing: "The last thing we need is another Bush in the White House".

"He was at the RNC, he was at the Central Intelligence Agency, he was at the United Nations, he was vice president, he was president", she said.
