In a statement, the team said: "On Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, Raptors 905 guard Kay Felder was charged by police in connection with an allegation of domestic violence".

Felder allegedly choked a longtime female acquaintance following an argument during dinner, according to TMZ Sports.

Cops wouldn't confirm the identity of the accuser but multiple sources connected to the incident tell us the alleged victim is a woman who has known Felder for years. The victim had enough time to call a family member, who then called the police. He played in 58 career National Basketball Association games with teams, including the Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, and Detroit Pistons.

Felder, 23, did not suit up for a game with the Toronto Raptors this regular season after spending the exhibition slate with the team.
