Liverpool staged a superb second-half revival to come back from a goal down and beat Burnley 3-1 in the Premier League at Turf Moor on Wednesday.

"Not 100 per cent sure but Alisson said to me he had the ball".

Jurgen Klopp then sent for substitutes Mohamed Salah and Firmino and it changed the game, with the latter scoring the victor less than three minutes after his introduction, staying onside to finish a set-piece struggling Burnley defended badly.

Jurgen Klopp felt referee Stuart Attwell failing to control Burnley's physical approach contributed to an injury for Liverpool defender Joe Gomez.

Burnley's former England keeper further excelled when he managed to fingertip a fierce Naby Keita effort onto a post and out for a corner after the Liverpool midfielder burst past Ashley Westwood.

After Liverpool gambled by making seven changes, Jack Cork put Burnley ahead in the 54th minute.

Xherdan Shaqiri

The Clarets' advantage lead was short-lived, Divock Origi teeing up Milner for an excellent drive into the bottom-right corner, Klopp swiftly bringing on Salah and Firmino to hunt a victor.

The 21-year-old has become a key part of Klopp's side, playing in 13 of Liverpool's 15 league games this season.

Divock Origi, who scored the victor in the Merseyside derby on Sunday, will start up-front, while Daniel Sturridge and Xherdan Shaqiri have also been granted places in the starting XI.

Burnley boss Sean Dyche was happy with what he saw from his side, which he thinks was an improvement on recent weeks.

Asked about the PSG reports, Fabinho told UOL, as quoted by FourFourTwo: "I was told there was something in the press, but I never said I'd like to leave Liverpool", he told UOL when asked about the PSG reports. Then finally after a few weeks' break our set-pieces are back. The Egyptian is joined by fellow attacker Roberto Firmino on the bench, while Sadio Mane misses out completely with an injury.

Alisson redeemed himself in stoppage time with a great save from Mee's header before launching the move that led to Liverpool's third goal when Xherdan Shaqiri swept home a Salah-inspired move to leave the Clarets only off the bottom only on goal difference after taking two points from the last possible 24.
