Arsenal release a statement revealing that they will "remind players of their responsibilities" after several of them were videoed appearing to inhale laughing gas.

Stars including Mesut Ozil, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Matteo Guendouzi feature in the footage, which appears to come from CCTV footage and was published by The Sun.

"The players will be spoken to about this and reminded of their responsibilities as representatives of the club", it read.

CCTV footage obtained by The Sun showed numerous club's senior players inhaling balloons of the gas (also known as "hippy crack") during a party which took place ahead of the start of the season.

Shkodran Mustafi and Sead Kolasinac are also seen in the video with balloons in their mouths, which is how the gas is ingested.

Arsenal endured a challenging start to the season, and manager Unai Emery found himself under a huge amount of pressure.

The club got off to a slow start to the season, losing to both Manchester City and Chelsea in August, but have since gone on a 20-game unbeaten run which included a 4-2 victory over North London rivals Tottenham.
