Former "America's Next Top Model" contestant Jael Strauss has died two months after revealing that she has been battling Stage 4 breast cancer.

We send our thoughts and condolences to Jael's loved ones during this hard time.

"She was a friend to all and helped hundreds of people find freedom from the pain of addiction", Strauss' friend continued.

Strauss went public with her battle with Stage 4 breast cancer on October 5, three days after receiving her diagnosis.

Her addiction left her with rotting teeth and her body covered in sores. I've been in contact with her sister as well as her since she's been incarcerated.

She celebrated five years sobriety in August of this year with a touching Facebook post.

According to TMZ, Strauss died in hospice Tuesday, after taking a turn for the worse Monday night.
