Arsenal have confirmed that they will be speaking to several members of their first-team squad after a video emerged showing the stars inhaling nitrous oxide gas. Footballers Raheem Sterling, Kyle Walker and Jack Grealish have all been embroiled in scandals for taking it in the past.

"The players will be spoken to about this and reminded of their responsibilities as representatives of the club", read a statement on Arsenal's official website.

In footage obtained by The Sun, Alexandre Lacazette, Matteo Guendouzi, Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are shown inhaling nitrous oxide at a party in London back in August.

Gunners stars Henrikh Mkhitaryan, 29, and Shkodran Mustafi, 26, are also apparently in the footage but are not seen with the balloons. Around 70 girls were invited to join the Arsenal stars in London's Tape club, as the party racked up a bill of nearly £30,000.

Arsenal boss Holding out hope defender's injury is not too serious
I said to him, 'Sead, you had a very good match and offensively you gave us a lot of chances. This draw yesterday is only good if we win against Huddersfield ".

Nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas or "hippy crack", is freely available, but it is technically illegal to sell it for recreational purposes.

Possession of the drug is not illegal in the United Kingdom, but its sale and production is restricted.

Arsenal started the campaign with consecutive defeats to Manchester City and Chelsea but have embarked on a brilliant 20-game unbeaten run under new boss Unai Emery.
