A woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances aboard a Princess Cruises ship sailing in the Caribbean on Tuesday, the cruise line said.

Meanwhile, fellow passengers aboard the Royal Princess are discussing what could have happened on a cruise ship message board.

The FBI and authorities in Aruba are investigating whether the tragic death of an American woman on a Caribbean cruise was an accident or a crime. "The cause of death is not yet known at this time", Royal Princess told the newspaper in the statement.

The Royal Princess left Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale on Friday and is expected to return on Saturday.
