The Burlington County Prosecutor's office is expected to make an announcement in the case Thursday, according to multiple reports. In September, officers raided the couples' home, seizing the BMW, financial statements, along with jewelry and cash.

While authorities await autopsy results, the investigative work on board the ship appears to be complete.

The name of the victim and the man taken off the boat have not been released. MasNoticia.com, an Aruba-based media outlet, also reported the death was being probed as a possible murder case. Authorities have yet to confirm that report.

A second source added: "We can literally see the lifeboat from our room".

The FBI has since joined the investigation. In a statement to CBS News, Princess Cruises said, "we are deeply saddened by this incident and offer our honest condolences to the family and those affected".
