Dubbed as W2019 it's an upgrade to the last year's W2018 device and manages to put nearly every smartphone to shame. The rear camera setup is also the same as the S9 and Note 9. This Samsung phone comes with a dual rear camera configuration consisting of 12MP+12MP cameras. It is expected to be priced above CNY 10,000 (approximately Rs 1,04,450). The South Korean major is yet to confirm the price of the smartphone, but we do know that it will be exclusive to China Unicom. It comes in two different variants - the Gold Extreme Edition and Platinum Golden Collector's Edition that both have similar specifications but the formal comes in Gold colour option, while the latter has a Silver paint job.

Being a successor, Samsung W2019 comes with new and improved features as compared to the Samsung W2018.

Samsung W2019 has two 4.2-inch AMOLED displays both sporting full HD resolution. As usual, the pricing is insane with the unit carrying 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage priced at the equivalent of $2,732 United States dollars.

Samsung announces that the back side of the W2019 is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. It has a fingerprint sensor on the side button. Samsung W2019 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. Unlike the W2018, the W2019 features a dual camera system on the back. The cameras offer video up to 4K resolution at 60fps and slow motion with FHD resolution at 960fps.

Once again, the W2019 also carries an 8MP front camera just like the Galaxy Note 9 but with a smaller aperture at f/2.0 instead of latter's f/1.7. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2 and USB Type-C connector.
