Dez Bryant Caught Ripping Saints Fan in Old Tweet

According to multiple reports, the Saints will be signing receiver Dez Bryant.

The Saints face the Cowboys in Week 13, giving Bryant a matchup against the team that drafted him with the No. 24 pick in 2010, and the only franchise he's played for until now.

The Saints understand that they are going to need any and every edge they can get throughout the rest of the season, and Dez Bryant pushes that red zone percentage even higher in all likelihood.

"I'm happy for Dez, happy he has an opportunity to go play and finish the right way", Garrett said. As if opposing defenders didn't already have their hands full with Drew Brees, Michael Thomas, Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram, now they'll have to deal with Bryant, who better make up for the tweet by performing well with his new team. "I look forward to working with him". Getting revenge on the Dallas Cowboys would just be an added bonus.

Bryant, who turned 30 on Sunday, has been a free agent since he was released by Dallas in April. The former Dallas Cowboys receiver has more touchdowns (nine) than he does against any other team in the NFL. "Definitely been a guy who's been on our radar for a while".

He has 2203 runs in 86 matches and is second in the world, just after Martin Guptill of New Zealand. Obviously last game we bowled and fielded very, very well.

Ted Ginn Jr. was originally the second option at wide receiver behind Thomas, but he was placed on injured reserve last month due to a knee injury.

The Saints, sitting at 7-1 atop the NFC South, will take on the Cincinnati Bengals on the road in Week 10.

Besides Garrett, Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was also excited to see Bryant get a new job.

As for Bryant, one thing he might want to do before his return to Dallas on November 29 is purchase a few extra jerseys, because apparently, a bunch of his old teammates are hoping to trade with him after the game. Moving forward, Bryant will be a WR3/flex as he learns the Saints offense, but his value may increase. "I know he'll help their team".
