Jamal Murray caught chasing stats against Celtics

Boston Celtics star Kyrie Irving threw what was supposed to be Jamal Murray's game ball into the stands in disgust over the latter's last-second shot in a game that was all but over. That was a tough one in all the households in Boston - certainly the Stevens household as well.

Murray tried to score during a basketball game.

Nuggets: Murray scored 14 of the team's 19 points in the first quarter. Murray split his output between 23 points in the first half and 25 points in the second half. The final 3 struck me as a self-imposed compromise to Murray.

Murray was not just scoring at will though, as he also did it with extreme effectiveness. Congratulations to him having 48 points. "I really didn't care at that point". That issue returned Monday night. The Celtics lose there when they're good (2008), and when they're bad (2013). In the first half, Jokic attempted just one field goal and had only four points.

Murray was feeling it all night, hitting 19 of 30 shots, including five 3s. At that point the game was well decided, and players already had begun shaking hands.

The Nuggets needed a big game from Murray because the Celtics found some rhythm.

Drake calls out a casino with claims of racial profiling
Following Drake's post , Parq Vancouver's website was flooded with negative comments, with one user saying, "It's 2018 not 1945". " Parq Vancouver is sorry to hear about this experience and takes these matters very seriously".

Those are insane numbers for the Nuggets big man, who is just 2.3 assists shy of averaging a triple-double. "No disrespect to the Boston organization, the Boston fans for that last shot". The C's continued to play sluggish out of the break, allowing 34 Denver points in the third quarter. The second unit cranked up the intensity though, led by Trey Lyles who was finally able to get going offensively. With his solid performance, Lyles is now averaging 10 points per game and is up 17.6 percent shooting from behind the arc.

"He's young. He's still learning", Malone said. "Our bench its definitely playing at a high level and we need them to continue to play at that high level and help our starting unit out". Keep chiseling away and keep moving forward. "Our defense has to be better, especially against a player like that in the pick and roll". But the 21-year-old was anything but anonymous on Monday evening.

This wasn't just any pass. This guy works as hard and is as dedicated as anybody I've ever been around.

"We've accomplished nothing", Murray said. "He knows he is a killer". We're rooting for him.

The two sides won't meet again until March 18 at TD Garden, so we'll see just how short of a memory both teams have.
