Target Reveals Black Friday Plans

According to a press release, the new "skip the line" checkout will give customers a "more convenient experience.[by allowing] team members". Last month, the company announced they would be offering free, two-day shipping (with no order minimum), and past year, Target introduced technology that allows team members to place Target.com orders for guests in-store and then have the purchase shipped to their doorstep.

Target has also got in on the Black Friday frenzy by offering its 2018 free shipping deal now.

It's been observed from last few years that the retailers are not able to generate the massive sale from the black Friday because of rising online e-commerce and that's the reason this season the big giant retailers like Costco, Home Depot, and TJ Maxx will not open their stores for Black Friday. This checkout technology is the latest feature built by Target's technology team to make shopping easier for guests. In brick-and-mortar stores, standard Black Friday deals begin at 5 PM Thursday, November 22.
