As usual, Apple is mum's the word on what's to be expected from the event, but we need little to no urging to put on our thinking caps and come up with a list of expectations of the event.

The new iPhone XR will be available to pre-order from tomorrow but that's not the only launch coming from Apple in October. Macworld also speculates that a new Apple Pencil will be unveiled, plus, possibly, "iOS versions of Final Cut and Logic". We'll have to see if Apple alters the security measure to reflect this. The event will be held at 12:00 and will be dedicated to the presentation of the new iPad Pro and Mac, as well as other possible surprises.

Apple's current-generation iPad models share a number of design features with the iPhone models that were introduced around the same time.

Apple's last iPad Pro was released back in 2017.

Apple is also going to reveal another, minimal MacBook to succeed the MacBook Air which has not seen an update from so many years.

Currently, we've no idea exactly what Mac product Apple will bring to the October event, but with 2018 so far seeing fewer of the range than other years, it's nearly definite there will be at least one.

Apple users were expecting the trillion dollar company to announce their long-awaited iPad Pro and new low price MacBookAir at the same time as the latest iPhone X series. So, buckle up your seatbelts and watch out for the next Apple product event.

At Apple's now-confirmed 30 October event, which will take place in New York City at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Apple is also likely to take the wraps off of its long-awaited successor to the MacBook Air.

The Mac Mini desktop computer has not been updated since 2014, despite its cult following. Finally, the iPhone X-famed FaceID will pave its way to the iPad Pro 2018 that works both in horizontal and vertical position. Bloomberg previously reported that the new model will feature upgraded storage and processor options. We don't think Apple will jump to OLED displays for reasons of cost and panel supply.
