Even though Apple just held its annual iPhone unveiling event, there is more yet to come this year from Cupertino. The designs are also used on Apple's event website.

The invites, which were emailed to reporters Thursday morning, featured artistic renderings of the Apple logo.

Apple will hold a product announcement on October 30 in NY, where it will likely unveil new iPads and Mac computers.

Of course, device makers are third-hand sources when it comes to Apple's future plans, but they also frequently have an inside track on what's going on. This image looks like Simpsons with Marge at the bottom, but expect more artistic flair from the event. It also remains unclear if the event will see Apple break the silence over reports of a cheaper and more affordable MacBook Air.

It's been expected that Apple would host another event this year, following the iPhone event in early September. Since the iPad range is marketed as a tool for graphic designers, it's not the biggest stretch to take this as a sign the newest iPad will make an appearance. There will be two, as usual, with expectations that there will be one with an 11-inch display, and the other with a 12.9-inch screen. Both are destined to feature minimized bezels, similar to the iPhone X, and feature Face ID with the TrueDepth camera system on board.

The site also says that the companies were showing off a photo of the 2018 iPad Pro dimensions that was first shared on Slashleaks last week.

New iPads could finally pave the way for Apple to provide some release details about AirPower, amid speculation that the wireless charger for iPhones and Apple Watches may have been scrapped. The new Mac mini desktop will focus on professional users.
