The Friends of the McHenry Public Library District is getting ready for the annual used book sale Saturday and Sunday in the library's warehouse.

The sale begins at 10:00 a.m. each day; it continues until 8:00 p.m. tonight, until 5:00 p.m. on Friday and until 12 noon on Saturday. As of August 2018, the Friends have contributed $12,870 toward summer reading and other library programs. Anyone who missed out on the sale can still go down to the library basement and see what is still available. Membership is $10 for individuals or $25 for families.

Monday will be Bag Sale Day beginning at 3 p.m., although lines form before the opening. Bag sale prices do not apply in the Collector's Rooms, but items in those rooms will be half price.
