Katya Jones and Seann Walsh on Strictly Come Dancing.

William Hill said they were at 1/3 odds of being in the bottom two, with 11/8 odds to leave the show.

Following Sunday night's Strictly Come Dancing results, Katya Jones took to Twitter to thank her fans for saving her and Seann Walsh on the show.

Piper's exit from the competition comes days after Stefan Sylvestre, the man who threw acid over her 10 years ago leaving her with life-changing injuries, was released from prison.

Speaking about her time on the show, Katie said: "I have taken a lot from this experience and it has all been really positive, and I'll never forget this journey".

One of those was Charles Venn, who found himself and his partner Karen Clifton in the dance off for the second week running against Katie Piper and Gorka Marquez.

One outraged viewer tweeted: "Cannot believe seann and katya got through, what a great advertisement for cheating!?!"

Seann and Katya's reaction said it all. "Our relationship wasn't ideal, that doesn't mean I wanted it to end the way it finally did". "I'm still sorry for what I did, but it's very important for me to get that out there".

MJ Akbar's resignation accepted by PM Narendra Modi
Ramani , formerly of India Today , The Indian Express , and Mint , went on to join Akbar's team at the Asian Age . Yet a number of accused men have denied allegations in public statements or hit back at women for speaking out.

The publication of the photos in a Sunday newspaper of the pair kissing led Walsh's girlfriend to end their relationship.

They received high marks from the judges after their performance on Saturday night, leading fans to threaten a public revolt amid allegations the duo had received preferential treatment.

Actress Rebecca Humphries broke her silence soon after, claiming in an open letter that Walsh had called her "psycho/nuts/mental" when she suspected something was going on between him and Jones, who is married to Strictly dancer Neil Jones.

One viewer suggested the show had failed to address the elephant in the room by not referring to the kiss.

However, the incident wasn't mentioned at any point during the live show on Saturday or during the couple's VT before their dance.

Following the rollercoaster of a week for the dancing partners, the news must have been music to the BBC's ears - the Saturday night show was watched by almost 12 million viewers.

Earlier in the week, judge Craig Revel Horwood labelled it their Dance of Shame.
