One dream of Salman that only Karan Johar can fulfill

As the film completes 20 years today, we went back to search for some fun anecdotes from the film's cast and one such incident was narrated by Rani Mukerji at an event nearly a decade back.

Karan also recalled how Shah Rukh gave him the confidence to be a director. "Farah did the songs and Shah Rukh asked me to supervise it".

At the event, Karan Johar said he had to struggle a lot to cast for Tina's part as he had written the role for Twinkle Khanna, who turned it down. Though there were big stars in the film, Yash uncle and Karan never treated me unequally.

Neelam, who did a cameo in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was also part of the 20-year celebrations event and attended the party post it.
