This statement was made to an estimated 7,000 within the Richmond facility where President Trump had come to sway the upcoming November 6 election in favor of three-term Republican Congressman Andy Barr, who is being challenged by Democrat Amy McGrath, a retired U.S. Marine Lt. Colonel and fighter pilot.

"There's nobody tougher, there's nobody smarter", Trump said about McConnell during the rally. Sen. Mr. Trump categorized voting in the midterm elections as "you can vote for Democrat mob rule or you an vote for a Republican party that stands proudly for law and order, fairness, freedom and justice."In the last few weeks of the 2018 midterm campaign, Mr. Trump and Republicans have seized on describing Democrats as the party of an "angry mob".

But the president spent only a fraction of the evening rally talking about Barr, focusing instead on McConnell and the confirmation of more than 80 judges to the federal bench during the current Congress.

President Donald Trump has finished one political rally and is set to go out on the road for another campaign-style event.

"Never has a man been treated worse", Trump said, referring to sexual assault allegations against Kavanaugh from several women.

A source familiar with America First's get-out-the-vote efforts said Gingrich Productions, former House speaker and Trump ally Newt Gingrich's company, found the mob message effective in focus groups before producing the digital video.

Trump also led for a rousing cheer for the state's senior senator, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

"This election is bigger than politics", he said.

He added with a grin, "He's better when I'm president than he ever was when anybody else was president".

President Trump's New White House Painting Is Hiding a Surprising 'Feminist Message'
It's been called "kitschy", "tacky", and even reminiscent of the painting "Dogs Playing Poker", by Cassius Marcellus Coolidge . Other former Republican presidents in the painting are Teddy Roosevelt , Gerald Ford , Ronald Reagan , and both Bushes.

"There's something going on - it reminds me of '16", Trump told reporters just before leaving the White House on Saturday afternoon for the trip to Kentucky.

Trump praised Kentuckian politicians, recognizing "good friend" Sen.

Trump brought the state's other USA senator, Rand Paul to the stage, who pointed out how supportive the president has been of one of his health care proposals. "I will also tell you that every day, virtually every day, he exceeds my expectations".

Paul also spoke briefly during the rally, praising Trump support of his idea to allow association health plans, which let small businesses and the self-employed band together based on their industry or location and buy health insurance. "And we don't pay ransom", he said. "We're putting our miners back to work like never before".

The rally is slated to begin at 7 p.m. ET, at Eastern Kentucky University's Alumni Coliseum. "And the other is that Andy Barr is a great congressman".

However, Madison County Democratic Party Chairman Tyler Frazier said, in a social media post, "The president did not come to Madison County because of Andy Barr, he came because of Amy McGrath".

Trump wasn't finished with his attack on McGrath yet.

"The Democrats have become totally consumed with their chilling lust for power", he said. He's warning that Democrats only want to obstruct and are the party of crime and open borders.

At the rally, which was filled with an overflow crowd as he predicted, Trump talked about his meeting earlier that day in the Oval Office with pastor Andrew Brunson, released Friday more than two years after being arrested and jailed by Turkish authorities, who claimed he was involved with a domestic political movement behind an unsuccessful coup attempt against President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. He commented on the matter during the rally. It wasn't easy, wasn't easy, that one wasn't easy.
