IPhone Xs Max seriously lost Galaxy Note9 in important test

And the crowd (even Apple) followed it.

Just two months after the launch of its flagship smartphone of Note series, South Korean tech giant Samsung is now working on Galaxy Note 10. The phone will sport a curved display, nearly certainly, as every single Samsung flagship does, and consumers seem to like it, even though Samsung tweaks the curvature degree with each new iteration. The Bell notes that the phone's bezels will continue to decrease in size, which could result in the phone's dimensions remaining largely unchanged. That would make it larger than the 6.4-inch screen you can find in the Galaxy Note 9 and give Samsung an advantage over the iPhone XS Max that ships with a 6.5-inch display.

On the other hand, according to the first Samsung Galaxy Note 10 rumors, the device might boast a larger screen than the Note 9.

Samsung won't wait until late in 2019 to take the fight to Apple's latest flagship, though, as the report notes that the Galaxy S10, set to debut early next year, will sport an XS Max-rivalling 6.44in screen.

Speaking on the occasion, Samsung Electronics IT & Mobile Communications Division President and CEO DJ Koh said, "As a global leader in smartphone innovation, we understand the demand for meaningful innovation in a fast-paced world driven by visual communication".

Sundar Pichai: Google 'exploring' censored China search app
This summer, The Intercept broke the news that Google had built a search engine that would censor information. He said Google very much supports the U.S. armed forces. "It's an important input we take seriously".

One of the three Galaxy S10 models, the S10+, will fill the gap with a 6.44” display.

As we're still nearly a year from the likely launch of the Galaxy Note 10 we'd take this with a huge side of salt - and even if it is true, it's possible that Samsung would change its mind between now and when mass production starts. An industry insider told The Bell that it's possible for a phone's specs to change during the development phase, but it's rare for the screen size to change after it has been decided.

Will it have a notch?

That's a whole 0.26-inches bigger than the Note 9.

The fact that Samsung is willing to up the size off Galaxy S10's screen just so that it can have bragging rights over iPhone XS Max shows us just how serious the competition between these companies really is. Ironically, I'm still using my two-year-old 4-inch iPhone SE.
